Woman killed in crash near Sycuan Casino ID’d as Marie Anderson, 60, of El Cajon
San Diego County Diagnostic Examiner s Office at the County Operations Center File photo by Ken Stone Times of San Diego Officials Tuesday publicly identified a -year-old woman who was killed last weekend in a collision on a rural road near Sycuan Casino Marie Anderson of El Cajon was heading west on Dehesa Road in the Dehesa area at about p m Saturday when the Nissan Sentra she was driving veered to the left into the path of an oncoming Honda Pilot just east of Sloane Canyon Road according to the San Diego County Biological Examiner s Office and California Highway Patrol The Sentra crashed into the SUV then struck an eastbound Ford F- pickup truck causing it to overturn in the roadway CHP public-affairs Officer Jasmine Lopez disclosed Anderson died at the scene of the accident The drivers of the Honda and the Ford El Cajon women ages and respectively and a patron in the latter conveyance suffered minor injuries in the wreck according to the Highway Patrol This is an ongoing inspection Lopez commented Tuesday It is unknown at this time if drugs and or alcohol were a factor in the crash
